Heroineburgh just celebrated the debut of Episodes 11-13, marking the conclusion of Season One of the the live-action superheroine video series based in Pittsburgh, PA. The occasion was marked by two premiere showings, one all-ages at a coffeehouse with four screens and lots of free tasty food, and one on a projection screen in a popular bar known for comedy and burlesque shows. Both were well received and there were a couple preview articles written in the local media.

Next, Heroineburgh’s Episodes 11-13 will debut at the regional pop-culture convention known as Steel City Comicon, on Friday December 7 at noon. All weekend, the heroines will be greeting both longtime fans and curious newcomers at the booth at Artists’ Alley, where T-shirts, posters and stickers (by DC Comics artist Jason Wright) will be available along with original art by Ben Zeus Barnett, the co-founder of the newly created Heroineburgh Comics (which will release its first issue in 2019 and feature original stores not available in the videos).

Following that, we’ll make an official announcement in early December about the episodes being available online, while we begin filming Episode 14 – the first episode of Season Two. In the meantime, however, here’s an excellent way to get acquainted with two of the stars of Heroineburgh: Poderosa, the Latina superwoman (who will appear in Episodes 12 and 13), and Dysphoria, the diabolical dominatrix of decay (who appears in Episodes 8 and 13).

Here is the video interview from the podcast Start the Beat, hosted by Brian Sikes, with his guests Christina (Poderosa) and Stephanie W (Dysphoria). Enjoy their commentary, and watch out for our official release announcement very soon!

And also, to remind you of what these two ladies look like in costume, here is Dysphoria posing backstage as she gets ready to play the real-life role of lead singer in a Gary Numan tribute band; and Poderosa as she contends for the leadership of the Heroine League with her political rival, the mighty Frija.
